We live in a knowledge economy that thrives on constant innovation and quick obsolescence. Research is integral to this new economy and is relevant for several careers across a variety of sectors. For example, consumer researchers and data scientists do research to support businesses, economists and political scientists conduct policy research to help governments, private sector clients, think-tanks and foundations and scientists engage in research and development to foster innovation in companies. Research also is helpful in gaining admission to graduate programs in world-class universities and is essential for a teaching career in any field. This interactive session will address students in high school, the +2 level and those in College across all streams and specializations.
